Essie Play Date!

I'm back today with another polish! I just recently purchased this polish and it was once of those "I'm going to buy it but never going to wear it" polishes but I decided to wear it before I put it away and forgot about it forever! I'm actually quite surprised with how will this color applied. I don't usually go for bright colors like this. I use too when I first started my collection but now I like more subtle colors and pastels. Anyways, everyone I run into LOVES this color and I can see why. It just looks so pretty on your nails and really pops.

The formula on this was SO easy to work with too. It was opaque in one coat which is extremely rare for any nail polish, but I did 2 coats just because. The formula was a BIT runny but nothing too crazy or unmanageable.

Peachy Manicure!

Hi im back today with another manicure! I actually went to the nail salon today to get a manicure because I was feeling extra lazy! I usually do my own manicures except for once a month when I treat myself at the nail salon! Any ways todays color is Essies A crewed interest! When I first saw the press release for this collection I fell in love! I new I had to have this color and the light purple To buy or not to buy which I also purchased! Its not really a pastel as much as it is just a peachy light color.

The formula on this was great! It was streaky on the first coat, which I expected because usually all light colors are but once she added the second coat it seemed to even out almost completely! I asked the nail tech to do 3 coats just to make sure everything was nice and smooth and it looks great! I also have this color on my toes and have been receiving so many compliments! Its like the perfect spring shade and might be replacing my Essie Fiji, maybe!

Anyways on to the pictures!

Never Enough Polish! Literally!

Hi everyone! I'm back today with some new additions to my nail polish collection! As we all should know by now, I have a nail polish obsession (or problem like my parents like to call it). I recently acquired some new babies within the past week! Some of these came from here and some of them I bought at a local place around my house. Anyways I am happy to have my new colors and hope they all make a debut on this blog at some point!

Pastel Green Polish

Hi Everyone! I'm back today with a new kind of manicure for me! Now while I do collect nail polish, there are so many of my polishes that I never even wear! I don't know what makes me buy them. I think about friends and my sister when buying nail polishes so I buy them to have in my collection so that they could borrow them. Waste of money, right? Any ways I have been trying to wear some colors I have never worn before just to take them out for a spin. And that's is where today's manicure comes from. This is China Glazes Refreshmint. I'm not usually a "green" type of girl which is why I haven't worn this color before. But is is a pastel color and I LOVE pastels and the way they make me look so tan!

The formula on this wasn't too bad. Its not as streaky as some pastels tend to be. I did 3 even coats for the photos posted below and a top coat of Seche Vite! I also added an accent nail of gold glitter. I actually really enjoyed this manicure alot and left it on for more than 2 days with a BIG deal for me because I get bored easily.

Favorite Nude Polish

Hi everyone hope your all enjoying the start of your weekend. I thought I would kick off my swatching with one of my all time favorite nude polishes Essies Fiji! I absolutely adore this color and have done through about 4 bottles (and it is HARD to go through a polish bottle). But this color is just so perfect I cant help myself. This is mainly a spring/summer color but I wear it year round, especially on my toes!
The formula on this is a bit streaky OK it is EXTREMELY streaky. These pictures were taken with 3 coats because that's what it takes to even out the polish. I definitely think its worth all the patience needed for the manicure!

That's all for today hope your having a great weekend!

Nail Polish Collection!

Hi everyone! First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kathy and I am addicted to nail polish! I follow a lot of nail polish blogs and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to start my own! I started collecting nail polish about 3 years ago and my love for nail polish has just grown and grown and is a bit of obsession if I do say so myself. My favorite brands are OPI, Essie and China Glaze but I do own a couple randoms here and there. Now for about 3/4th of my collection I did pay full price for each polish (about $7-$8 per bottle depending on the brand) but I also purchase nail polish from discount beauty stores found locally in my area and online here. Now on to the pictures!
